I interviewed Mark Goodwin, the Editor in Chief at Bitcoin Magazine on the background of Bitcoin and the tokenization of everything.
Where did Bitcoin come from, how does it work and what impact has it had on our financial system? Is Bitcoin a means of liberating us from the clutches of evil central bankers, or is Bitcoin a Trojan horse those same bankers are using to foist a cashless society upon us?
Mark addresses these tough questions and more.
Most Bitcoiners reject even the slightest hint that there may have been some funny business involved with the origins of Bitcoin. Many have made a ton of cash and are high on the tech and unwilling to entertain the notion that they could have been misled or deceived. But Mark is unique in this regard. He asks the tough questions and leaves the door open to the possibility that Bitcoin was in fact an intelligence operation of some kind. Hats off to him.

The fact that Larry Fink has come out promoting Bitcoin should give us pause. This push to ETF everything is a transition to the tokenization of everything. Fink openly lauds the idea that in a very short time everyone will have a digital ID, all the world’s assets will be tokenized and recorded on a one-world ledger and crime will disappear. Utopia!
The underlying blockchain technology that Bitcoin invented allows for this tokenization of every person and object on the planet. It is, however, worth remembering, as my colleague Marco has pointed out, that one shouldn’t blame the technology itself — it is, after all, neutral and can be harnessed for good or for evil, depending on who is using it.
